Australian Glass Install (AGI) was selected as the facade install contractor for Kingswood Aluminium for the curtain wall glass installation for the D’Arenburg Cube Project.
AGI was specifically selected for this task, due to our ability to tackle a complicated design with our equipment and project management systems.
The project consisted of panel sizes of 4.1m high x 4.2m wide, designed by Kingswood Aluminium with 200mm curved framed panels to replicate the Rubiks Cube edges.
AGI also install the roof glass, which consisted of 44mm IGU’s on a framed glazed system.
AGI worked very closely with Kingswood Aluminium to determine the install methodology and shipping methods to give us the best opportunity on site to manage and handle the large panels. Together AGI and KA designed a panel ‘lifting frame’ which we adapted to our robotic Glass handler, which enabled us to manuevoer the panels and install under the offset Rubiks cube eaves staggered around the building.
This was project was completed incident free, on time and at a very high quality standard,
AGI has a number of strong business systems, managing safety, schedule performance and quality. Our QA systems ensured that quality was maintained at a very high standard.
